Small teams supporting families with garden clearance and tidying. In various locations around Balham and beyond. Running throughout the day.
Love car wash & BBQ
Join in getting wet and smokey on the High Street in front of St Mary’s Balham, blessing motorists and pedestrians as they flood past.
Small teams supporting families with decorating one or more rooms. In various locations around Balham and beyond. Running throughout the day.
Love Minnie Kidd House
A team preparing and running an afternoon tea party for residents of this NHS Continuing Healthcare facility.
Love healing on the streets
Join the Vineyard 61 team in their regular pattern on Balham High Street, offering prayer to anyone who wants some.
Baking tasty treats before the day. On the day wrapping and delivering those gifts to people who might appreciate the encouragement - housebound, local organisations (recipient suggestions welcomed).
Love gift bags at Balham station
Join a team from Balham Community Church giving out treat bags around Balham Station - with something tasty and words of blessing.
Love tea party
A team preparing then running an afternoon tea party at the Salvation Army, providing a place of welcome for anyone to come and chat over tea and cakes.
Love home help
Small teams supporting families - taking them for an outing, helping out around the home, giving time to talk (even in Spanish!)
A team in the community space outside Balham Sainsbury’s having fun pampering anyone who would like a manicure, face painting and more.
Teams providing refreshments for visitors at some of the churches, including the monthly Dads & Kids morning session at Ascension.
